Putting People First and
Safeguarding is our Strategic Aim. We believe that putting people first is
essential in creating a wonderfully high quality supportive and caring
|This begins in the way that
we rigorously interview, vet and select new staff and how we then go on to
train them. Having someone come into your home demands
an enormous degree of trust, so we pay attention to people's background,
attitudes and commitment. All staff undergo Criminal
Records Checks and Careful Vetting Procedures for references before they can
work within our business. "Only the Best Will Do" They
also complete a comprehensive three-day induction course too.
Staff receive formal supervision at least four times a year,
plus six-monthly appraisals. We are governed by CQC. Care Quality Commission.
|How We Can Help ..........
Our ervices are available 24 hours a day, seven days a
week and cover a whole range of needs which will be specified in a care plan
supplied initially by social services. Typical
activities may include helping someone with limited mobility to get up, washed,
dressed and fed in the morning; work may include help with common domestic
chores such as cleaning, laundry, ironing and shopping; or you may need one of
our workers to drop by to help and support you to make you a meal? No matter what it is we are here to guide, support, provide and
nurture our tenant's needs. We also provide more
specialised support enabling people with learning disabilities or long-term
mental health problems to live fuller lives within the community. If you need help of any kind in order to live a more fulfilled and
independent life then ask your health professional or social worker for advice
on how to obtain our services. We are only too happy to
help as well, it's our business and goal to provide our clients with
independence, exceptional support care and to allow them to lead a fuller and
more rewarding quality of life.
